The Clubhouse

The Clubhouse at Fota Island Resort is a conversion of old stone farm buildings. The exterior retains the original stonework and country feel that merges effortlessly into the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy outdoor dining on the terrace overlooking the lake, or a chilled beer on the covered veranda during the evening.

The menu is an extensive offering tailored for couples and families. The dishes are classic and authentic with an emphasis on local organic produce, Irish artisan pizza with our traditional homemade sourdough is a family favourite. Our relationship with our suppliers is key to our identity, reflected across our menus, while our genuine hospitality defines our casual dining experience.

Inside, the Spike Bar offers bistro-style all-day dining with a menu built around classic, authentic dishes and local, organic produce providing hearty clubhouse favourites, grill specials, and family-friendly options including artisan sourdough pizzas and a dedicated kids’ menu. In warmer months, the lakeside terrace and BBQ area come alive for al fresco lunches and après-golf evenings, while the comfortable interiors provide a welcoming spot to unwind after a round.
