Step back in time and savour our Afternoon Tea experience, served with the elegance and charm of Fota Island Resort.
Delicate finger sandwiches, warm buttery scones and beautifully crafted pastries come together for an afternoon of unhurried indulgence, surrounded by the natural beauty and timeless character of our island setting.
A tradition once enjoyed by the Smith Barry family at their Fota estate, Afternoon Tea remains a cherished occasion more than 200 years later. Choose from a selection of Irish Breakfast or Earl Grey tea, or raise a glass of Champagne and toast to one of life’s loveliest rituals.
Afternoon Tea is served Monday to Friday from 12pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 11am.
Take your pick from a glinting silver tower of delicacies, featuring smoked salmon and cream cheese, Coronation chicken and freshly baked brown soda bread. The sweetest part comes next, with crumbly scones, masterful choux and velvety cheesecake. Add a glass of champagne for a dash of effervescent elegance.
