HIIT

Intensity Interval Training suitable for all levels with the aim to increase strength and stamina. High energy body weight and resistance exercises followed by a mobility based cool down.

BOOTCAMP

 A group exercise class that mixes traditional body weight strength exercises and interval training. This class is held outdoors come rain or shine & meets in front of the Recreational Building.

CIRCUITS

This is the ultimate full body workout, challenging your cardio and muscular endurance. The class is fast paced, one exercise is done for a set period of time before moving onto the next exercise. Fitness Classes will be instructed within our designated outdoor training area. Please bring water, towel, and sun block. You are welcome to bring your own exercise mat should you wish

Teen Fit

Teen Fit with Fota Fitness is a specially designed class to help teens (12 – 16 years) to get fit, be healthy and have fun. These small group classes are the ideal way for teens to create lifelong fitness habits in a lively, fully supervised, friendly environment.

In class, teens perform a mix of physical activities including cardiovascular, strength, stretching exercises.

Mobility class

This class aims to help you regain mobility, reduce stiffness, aches & pains resulting in freedom of movement.

BODY WEIGHT WORKOUT

This class is a  45 min body weight class focusing on strength & agility. Start your week off well, Monday mornings with Rob.

SPIN & CORE

Spin & Core is suitable for all levels. Enjoy a  20 minute energiSing spin session followed  by 20 minutes of core strengthening work finishing with some mobility moves.

SPINNING CLASSES

We love spinning at Fota Island Resort! With twenty Keiser spinning bikes and the highest standard in fitness trainers, your fitness regime will get off to a flying start while at the same time providing you with an enjoyable experience. Classes are tailored to meet the needs of all fitness levels with beginners and advanced classes available.  

pOWER hOUR

A group fitness class which starts with a warm up and mobility session followed by a mixture of cardio and strength training using body weight and some equipment, finishing with a light stretch and great sense of accomplishment.

YOGA

CHILDREN'S BALLET 

Children's Ballet classes return to Fota Island Resort this September, Saturday 16th, and classes will incorporate Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Mime, musical appreciation, self confidence and lots of fun!
