Six Week Online Fitness Challenge

Please submit your details below to sign up for our Six Week Online Fitness Challenge. Fitness Videos will be emailed weekly for a period of six weeks starting on Monday 7th of November. Intensity Interval Training suitable for all levels with the aim to increase strength and stamina. High energy body weight and resistance exercises followed by a mobility based cool down. HIIT produces many of the same health benefits as other forms of exercise in a shorter amount of time. These benefits include lower body fat, heart rate and blood pressure.


A group exercise class that mixes traditional body weight strength exercises and interval training. This class is held outdoors come rain or shine & meets in front of the Recreational Building.


This is the ultimate full body workout, challenging your cardio and muscular endurance. The class is fast paced, one exercise is done for a set period of time before moving onto the next exercise. Fitness Classes will be instructed within our designated outdoor training area. Please bring water, towel, and sun block. You are welcome to bring your own exercise mat should you wish


We love spinning at Fota Island Resort! With twenty Keiser spinning bikes and the highest standard in fitness trainers, your fitness regime will get off to a flying start while at the same time providing you with an enjoyable experience. Classes are tailored to meet the needs of all fitness levels with beginners and advanced classes available.  


A group fitness class which starts with a warm up and mobility session followed by a mixture of cardio and strength training using body weight and some equipment, finishing with a light stretch and great sense of accomplishment.


Yoga is an ancient form of exercise that focuses on strength, flexibility and breathing to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The main components of yoga are postures (a series of movements designed to increase strength and flexibility) and breathing.It brings together physical and mental disciplines to achieve a peaceful body and mind; it helps manage stress and anxiety and keeps you relaxing. 


Pilates is is a low-impact workout effective at strengthing, lengthening, and toning your muscles through controlled, repetitive movements. There are many advantages to incorporating Pilates into your workout routine from increased strength to improved posture. 


Children's Ballet classes return to Fota Island Resort this September, Saturday 25th at 11:30am, and classes will incorporate Classical Ballet, Modern Dance, Mime, musical appreciation, self confidence and lots of fun!
