From the moment you enter the gates of Fota Island Resort Hotel in Ireland, you will be struck by the sheer elegance and natural beauty of a place where life runs at an altogether more leisurely pace. You will drive on tree-lined avenues where magnificent oaks and sycamores herald your approach. And when you reach your self catering in Cork destination and step from your car, you will find your greeting laid before you in the tranquil setting of your exclusive lodge.

Traditionally styled with high-pitched roofs and natural slate and windows of Nordic pine, the holiday home lodges are designed to not merely complement the wonderful landscape of the island, but to sit so comfortably within that very landscape it is as if they were always meant to be there. While existing trees and woodlands have been completely retained, an extensive tree and shrub planting scheme was undertaken to further enhance the natural appearance of the lodge environment within this beautiful part of Cork in the South of Ireland.

Choose from The Courtyard and The Courseside settings which are designed to encourage a relaxed and leisurely lifestyle.  The holiday home lodges are available with 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms and sleep from 4 to 7 people. Ideal for short breaks to play golf in Cork and to have a self catering holiday with family and friends. Unfortunately dogs and other pets are not allowed in our lodges. We can provide additional items such as cots, high chairsand more upon request. The Five Star Resort in Ireland does not provide stair gates in the lodges, but visitors are welcome to bring their own if required. All the lodges have extensively equipped kitchens and multi-channel televisions in the living area and in one bedroom. Furthermore, each lodge is internet enabled and the internal telephone system allows you all the comfort and access required to the Resort's amenities and services. 

Please note, your lodge is supplied with one bath and one hand towel per person at the beginning of your stay at our self catering near cork city. If required, additional towels are available from the spa at a cost of €2 per towel. Please remember to bring your lodge towels with you for use whilst visiting the swimming pool.
