Fota Island Resort is easily accessible from Cork International Airport and is located just 20 minutes from the thriving cosmopolitan city of Cork itself and near to historic area of Cobh and popular area of Midelton.

Travelling by Car?

Directions from Cork: In Cork City Centre, take the road for Dublin (N8). You will pass Kent Railway Station. At Dunkettle Interchange continue onto N25 (signposted Rosslare). At junction for Carrigtwohill branch left, then at roundabout take 4th exit for Cobh. Continue forward, then at roundabout take 1st exit onto R624. Fota Island Resort is located 800 metres on the right.

Travelling by Train?

Look for Kent Station in Cork and take the Middleton train eastbound. It is a short 15 minute train journey from Cork and then just a 5 minute taxi ride from Glounthaune station to Fota Island Resort.

Travelling by Air?

Directions from Cork Airport to Fota Island Resort:

Helipad: North: N51º54’05.57” West: W8º17’30.55”

Directions from Cork Airport by car: At Airport Road Roundabout take 1st exit onto N27 (signposted Cork). At Kinsale Road Roundabout take 4th exit. Go through Jack Lynch Tunnel. At Dunkettle Interchange Roundabout take the third exit onto N25. Branch left for Cobh, at roundabout take 4th exit onto R624. At roundabout take 1st exit onto R624. Fota Island Resort is located 800 metres on the right.
