The arrival of the Clipper Yachts in Kinsale on 02 – 07 July 2010 and in Cork on 07 – 09 will be the fleet’s first return to Europe since the Race started in the UK in September 2009. In Kinsale, there will be an array of entertainment which will include local and national circus acts and musicians, food and craft markets and live music at Kinsale Square before the festival makes it way in a parade of sail to Cork on Wednesday 7th of July. The yachts will be moored at Custom House at the new Cork City pontoons and the Race Village will be located on Albert Quay. A full programme of events is being developed including music, food market and children’s entertainment. (more…)
