Group and Corporate Tuition from PGA Teaching Professionals

The Academy offers its services in order to assist you in entertaining your corporate clients and friends. We offer a five star friendly service in a fun and relaxing environment and our PGA teaching professionals are on hand with all our modern technology to make it a memorable visit.

Our fantastic facility can accommodate large groups comfortably and is not weather dependant as our indoor facilities enables tuition under our heated lit bays and indoor putting green. Our technical equipment and training aids are also versatile and can be used in and outdoors.

The programmes can accommodate small and large numbers, those playing golf on the day and even people who have never played before. We can also provide golf equipment to those who need it. All of our services can be tailored to suit individual requests, but we have a few ideas to help you along

For the clients who have not played golf they receive a sound idea of the game and partake in small competitions around the facility to enhance their enjoyment, where the winners receive a prize from our fully stocked Pro-Shop. This may be followed by lunch and light refreshments in our golfers’ café. With the aid of our computer equipment we can send them home with a digital image of their golf swing with your company logo, as a memento of their day.

Several types of clinics on the day of a corporate outing depending on group sizes and the amount of time allocated.
Some of the more popular are as follows:

First Tee Action
The first tee shot of the day is recorded by Swing Sequence and printed out. This is put in a presentation folder with comments and tips from a Fota Island Golf Professional for you to take away.

Group Clinic
This offers instruction on full swing and short game fundamentals. This is a perfect way to entertain employees, clients or friends. Short game instruction includes putting, chipping, pitching and sand play. This programme should be mandatory if you are serious about improving your score.

Rolling Clinic
Join this warm-up before you challenge the course. A PGA Professional will be on hand to answer any questions and give guidance as to how best approach the course. Cost: one instructor per 20 golfers.

Beat the Pro
One of our PGA Professionals will join each group at a designated par 3 hole on the golf course during your outing. This will give your clients the opportunity of trying their luck at beating our Pros first tee shot to the green.

Team Building
As this is now a very important aspect of every company we have set up a number of different skills challenges that can be tempted after a warm up clinic. As all of our facilities are in close proximity to each other different stations can be used simultaneously and a scorecard can be made with your company’s logo. This event proves great fun for everyone and we find even the non golfer can attribute to the teams score.
